Five Weeks Down

Today was the end of the 5th week of treatment. All in all it’s gone relatively smoothly, with no signs yet of any fatigue or tiredness. I’d expected it to have started by now so perhaps I’ll get away without it.

The diarreah has also settled down and is more or less predictable. I go fairly soon after getting up and then again about an hour later, and that’s it. No unexpected rushes to the toilet and no embarrassing incidents, so far.

Touch wood.

I’m hoping that this is as bad as it’s going to get and in reality it’s been little more than an irritation.

So now I’m beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Only one more full week to go and then a few days the week after.
