Random Numbers
The second week has started with another routine day. Most of my treatments are around 10:00 but today was at 10:45 so there wasn’t any rush to get up and get ready. That said, I’ve been waking fairly early recently so I was up and about just after seven. At this time of year it’s barely light by then.
With one week down, it gave a chance to reflect on progress. One thing that’s crossed my mind is how the fraction of the overall treatment changes day by day.
After the first week I had undergone five of the 33 treatments. That somewhere between a sixth and a seventh of the total, which doesn’t sound very big. But after today, I’ve had six out of 33 which is between a fifth and sixth. Tomorrow it will be more than a fifth and on Wednesday it will be almost a quarter. By the end of the week it will be more or less a third, which sounds a lot better than a seventh or “four more weeks to go”.
