Another Day, Another Week
The weekend went well.
I had a night out with friends on Friday at one of our favourite pubs, sampling some of the real ales they brew there. My bladder is getting quite used to being full so a pint or four presented fewer problems than normal.
On Saturday morning it was an earlty start to visit a junk sale with a collector friend to see if we could find any vintage bargains. I had been slightly concerned beforehand in case the dreaded diarreah caused any problems, especially as the 7am start was well out of sync with my normal daily routine. In the event there was no sign of a problem.
The treatment schedule of five days on, two days off is designed to give the body a rest over the weekend and allow it to recover from the nuclear battering it’s getting during the week. Before the treatment started I had half been expecting the weekends to be the time when tiredness might seriously kick in. But not yet.
So this is the start of the fourth week. I’m now 16 treatments along, almost half way to the total of 33.
So far, so good.
Day Sixteen
Tiredness: 0/10
Side Effects: nothing new to report.
